Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full UK driving licence required due to travel across the region.
• Experience in safety management and health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert safety advice to managers and employees to ensure legal and moral health and safety standards.
• Influence frontline managers to adhere to current legislation and best practice.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide targeted procedures and guidance.
• Collaborate with safety professionals to share best practice across the business.
• Lead safety audits and investigations into significant incidents and near misses.
• Support development of Safe & Well system for clear, usable safety information.
• Build relationships with partner contractors to raise HSE performance.
• Review unit performance and guide development to improve safety.
