Job summary

Principal People is recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor for a home-based role covering sites across the North of England. The role offers freedom, autonomy and a strong work-life balance while supporting audits and compliance.

You will visit sites regularly, provide expert safety guidance, ensure policies are in place, review reporting and lead investigations when needed. A NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 is required.
• Ability to work remotely and autonomously across sites.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites in the North.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites around the Northern region regularly in preparation for external audits.
• Provide health and safety guidance to management and staff remotely and on-site.
• Ensure health and safety processes and policies meet legislation and best practice.
• Review safety reporting and provide management with insights and recommendations.
• Monitor incidents and lead investigations where appropriate.
