Job summary

National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking a Fundraising Manager to grow income through grants, trusts and foundations across the Midlands & East regions. The role blends office work with site visits, 30 hours per week over 4 days, and a hybrid pattern backed by strong stakeholder collaboration.

You will identify and secure grants up to £100k, support larger place-based funding, and work with internal teams to shape compelling propositions while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience of fundraising and bid writing.
• Track record of identifying, securing, managing grants and working with trusts and foundations.
• Strong written communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure small to medium grants (up to £100k).
• Support larger place-based funding, including National Lottery Heritage Fund bids.
• Collaborate with internal teams and funders; ensure funding is managed and monitored.
