Job summary

Weston Park Cancer Charity is seeking a Regional Fundraising Officer to develop and grow community fundraising across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. You will build strong relationships with community groups, schools and supporters, coordinating events and campaigns to boost regional income.

You will travel regularly, work evenings and weekends as needed, and collaborate with the fundraising, volunteer and marketing teams to deliver a dynamic annual plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in community fundraising and donor stewardship.
• Ability to build sustainable relationships with supporters across the region.
• Strong communication and networking skills with local groups, schools and organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with supporters across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.
• Promote Weston Park Cancer Charity within the regional community and travel extensively to events.
• Implement fundraising plans to meet identified targets and optimise donor care.
• Manage donor relationships to ensure excellent stewardship and timely thank-you communications.
• Represent the charity at cheque presentations and community events to raise awareness and income.
• Collaborate with fundraising, volunteer and marketing teams to deliver regional campaigns and events.
• Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and work flexibly including evenings and weekends.
• Maintain accurate records in the fundraising CRM system and monitor progress against annual income targets.
