Job summary

Human Appeal is seeking a Fundraising Officer (North) based at our office in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will identify, plan, and manage regional fundraising campaigns to meet income targets, exploring events, exhibitions, conferences and dinners to build donor relationships.

You will develop relationships with donors, partners, and local organisations, coordinate with the Head Office Fundraising Department, and drive regional fundraising initiatives to deliver year-on-year growth for HA

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE Mathematics, English. Ideally educated to degree level.
• Minimum of 2 years in similar post, proven track record of project and events management.
• Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Office, Social Media, Donor Management systems
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Promote and adhere to fundraising code of conduct and best practice while safeguarding HA and public image.
• Develop and maintain relationships with donors, partners, organisations and businesses in the region to secure donations.
• Liaise between local organisations and HA Head Office Fundraising Department to improve efficiency and maximise fundraising potential.
• Organise dinners, concerts, speaker tours and conferences to raise income and ROI.
• Recruit and manage regional volunteers in line with the volunteer strategy and provide training and materials.
• Support FR colleagues by attending meetings and distributing manpower during peak periods.
• Identify and develop new regional fundraising opportunities and emergency campaigns.
