Job summary

Alzheimer’s Society is seeking a Regional Fundraiser for Norfolk & Suffolk to grow income by engaging local businesses, groups and supporters. You’ll develop fundraising opportunities, plan activities and build lasting partnerships across the region.

You don’t need fundraising experience; transfer skills from sales, recruitment or customer engagement can help you succeed. You’ll travel across the region with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people, customers, clients or organisations and maintaining positive relationships.
• Confidence to approach new contacts and explore opportunities.
• Ability to monitor progress and use basic financial information to inform decisions.
• Clear communication skills adaptable to different people and situations.
• Organised and flexible approach to planning and activity across an area.
• Willingness to learn, share ideas and work with colleagues and volunteers.
• Appreciation of the contribution volunteers make and an interest in helping them feel supported.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fundraising activities across Norfolk & Suffolk, working towards income and engagement goals.
• Develop connections with local businesses, corporate partners, community groups and individual supporters.
• Identify potential supporters, build new connections and follow up on opportunities to turn conversations into partnerships.
• Look after existing supporters, helping them develop fundraising plans and get involved over time.
• Create accessible fundraising opportunities that reflect diverse interests and circumstances.
• Coordinate activity with colleagues and volunteers to deliver fundraising plans.
• Monitor income and activity to inform progress and future plans.
• Represent Alzheimer’s Society at local events and in community settings to raise awareness and support.
