Job summary

Motor Fuel Group in the United Kingdom seeks an Area Resource Manager to oversee a region of company-owned petrol stations. You will ensure policy implementation, safety, and consistent operations across sites while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.

This role requires travel, nights away, and the ability to drive improvements in profitability by enforcing merchandising, promotions, and accurate pricing, while supporting Contract Managers and regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in forecourt/retail sector, ideally with contract management/franchise experience.
• High self-motivation and discipline with the ability to work long hours.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and people management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all stations comply with Company policies and health & safety standards.
• Collate, investigate and report incidents per internal procedures.
• Manage communications and liaison with suppliers, contractors and officials.
• Monitor and manage fuel pricing to maximise margins.
• Audit shop, forecourt and food service operations monthly.
• Monitor expenditure and ensure budget targets are met.
• Oversee Contract Managers to ensure adherence to agreements.
