Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a Regional Financial Controller to oversee a portfolio of London hotels. You will report to the Head of Finance and own reporting, forecasting and governance to boost revenue and profitability across the portfolio.

Lead a regional finance team, drive management accounts, budgeting and KPI tracking, and collaborate with General Managers to translate data into actionable operational improvements. Hybrid work pattern with three days on site and two WFH days.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or studying towards qualification.
• Experience as Financial Controller, cluster Financial Controller, regional finance lead or finance business partner.
• Hotel, leisure or multi-site experience preferred.
• Confidence challenging and influencing senior operational stakeholders.
• Track record of improving financial performance, not just reporting.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, reporting tools and hotel PMS.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior finance partner for the portfolio, supporting operational and commercial decisions.
• Provide analysis and challenge on revenue, profitability and ROI.

Job description

An international hotel group is looking for a Regional Financial Controller to cover a portfolio of London hotels. The role reports to the Head of Finance.

The role combines financial control with business partnering. You'll own reporting, forecasting and governance across the portfolio and work closely with General Managers and Regional Operations to improve revenue, productivity and profitability.

(3 days on site - 2 WFH)

What you'll bring

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or actively studying towards a qualification.
• Experience as a Financial Controller, Cluster Financial Controller, Regional Finance lead or Finance Business Partner
• Hotel, leisure or multi-site experience (strongly preferred)
• Confidence challenging and influencing senior operational stakeholders
• A track record of improving financial performance, not just reporting on it
• Experience leading and developing a team
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, reporting tools and hotel PMS
