Job summary

GLF Schools seeks a Regional Finance Partner to provide strategic financial leadership across a group of schools. You will report to the Finance Director, support Headteachers and Regional Directors, and drive budgeting, forecasting and financial decision-making with a focus on sustainability and educational outcomes.

The role requires leading a regional finance team, strong analytical skills, and excellent stakeholder management to influence senior leaders.

• Holds a recognised accounting qualification.
• Experience in a multi-site or complex organisation.
• Ability to analyse financial information and present it clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven leadership in developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership across schools in the region.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and MI for the region.
• Lead the regional finance team and develop staff.
• Interact with senior leaders and drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
• Travel between schools within the Banstead, Epsom and Camberley region as required.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work closely with Regional Education Directors, Headteachers and wider functional teams to support effective financial planning, robust budget management and informed decision-making.Leading the regional finance team, you will ensure the delivery of accurate management information, forecasts and budgets, while driving continuous improvement and best practice across our schools. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys building strong relationships, influencing senior stakeholders and making a tangible difference within a values-driven organisation.The successful candidate will oversee a group of primary schools across the Banstead, Epsom, and Camberley region.
