Job summary

CSL is seeking a Regional Finance Business Partner for the EuCan Cluster with flexible location across multiple European markets. You will partner with Finance and Commercial leaders to drive insights and performance across Canada, UK & Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

This high-visibility role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and stakeholder coordination to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• ≈5+ years of experience across finance disciplines including business partnering, FP&A, reporting, accounting operations, or related areas.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
• Fluent English; other languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Finance with analyses, insights, and recommendations for leadership discussions.
• Develop executive presentations, briefing materials, and management reports to support decision-making.
• Consolidate market inputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial information.

Regional Finance Business Partner (m/f/x) - EuCan Cluster

Location: Flexible - this role can be based at any location within the Cluster (Italy, UK, Spain, France, Portugal)
Reporting to: Head of Finance, EuCan Cluster

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Regional Finance Business Partner, EuCan Cluster to support the Head of Finance in driving financial insights, performance management, and strategic decision-making across our commercial operations in Canada, UK & Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

This highly visible role combines financial planning, business partnering, performance analysis, and stakeholder coordination. You will work closely with Finance and Commercial leaders across the region, providing meaningful insights that support business growth and operational excellence.

The Role

Business Partnering & Decision Support

• Support the Head of Finance with financial analyses, insights, and recommendations for leadership and business discussions.
• Assess business performance trends and identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop executive presentations, briefing materials, and management reports to support decision-making.

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Reporting

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and outlook cycles across EuCan markets.
• Perform variance analyses, identifying key drivers behind performance.
• Consolidate market inputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial information.

Performance & KPI Analysis

• Monitor and analyze financial and commercial KPIs across the region.
• Support the development of dashboards and management reporting tools.
• Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance.

Process Excellence & Data Management

• Maintain high-quality financial data, reporting models, and planning templates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including reporting automation and standardization.
• Coordinate planning timelines, submissions, and follow-up activities across markets and FP&A teams.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with country Finance Business Partners, FP&A teams, Finance Operations, and Commercial stakeholders.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive alignment and collaboration.
• Support the continued evolution of the Finance Business Partnering model by helping to strengthen insights, storytelling, and business impact.

Your Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience across finance disciplines such as business partnering, financial planning & analysis, reporting, accounting operations, or related areas.
• Experience within the biopharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing materials for senior leadership audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple countries and stakeholder groups.
• CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or MBA qualification is an advantage.
• Fluent English required; additional language skills in French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese are highly desirable.
