Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to oversee and lead on-site FM teams across a group of client manufacturing facilities in the East Midlands region. The role focuses on coordinating hard and soft services, ensuring standards, and reporting to the Account Director.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in manufacturing FM, with a track record in team development, budgeting and contract administration, plus a solid knowledge of H&S practices.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with multi-site portfolio oversight.
• Proven track record in training and developing a team to uphold standards.
• Excellent knowledge of soft and hard FM services.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical building engineering services; desirable.
• Knowledge of financial budgeting, management and contract administration.
• Familiarity with service provision contracts and related procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• IOSH/NEBOSH knowledge desirable for health and safety.
• Flexible approach to working hours to support client service.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FM teams for a group of client sites (hard and soft services).
• Coordinate day-to-day on-site operations and service delivery.
• Lead on-site teams and ensure alignment with IFM requirements and guidelines.
• Report to Account Director on performance and progress.
• Liaise with client, in-country teams and program teams on day-to-day matters.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and industry standards.

  Hours – Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

  We have an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced, organised and professional Regional Facilities Manager to oversee and lead our FM teams for both hard and soft services at a group of client sites

  You will take the lead in providing Facilities Management on a group of client manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the day to day operation on the ground, co-ordinating the hard and soft services for the facility and managing the teams on site.

  The Facilities Manager will accurately and efficiently co-ordinate the onsite services as per IFM requirements, compliance expectations and guidelines, and will report to the Account Director.

  The Facilities Manager will also be responsible for liaising closely with the client and other stakeholders such as the in-country and program teams with day to day matters and ensuring these are aligned with any overarching strategic objectives.

  A strong knowledge of working in both soft and hard FM services is necessary.

  What do you need?

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment and managing a multi-site portfolio.
  • Qualified Experience of training & developing a team to ensure standards are always high
  • Excellent Knowledge of soft and hard services
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical building engineering services, their design, operation and maintenance would be desirable
  • Understanding of financial budgeting, management and control techniques
  • Working knowledge of service provision contracts and contract administration procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of industry related Health & Safety. IOSH or NEBOSH are highly desirable
  • Flexible approach to working hours to ensure our client receives the best service all the time
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Full UK driving license with access to your own personal vehicle
