Job Description

As a Northern-based Regional Senior Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring consistency, and providing leadership and guidance to culinary teams in your region. Your culinary expertise, managerial skills, and passion for food will contribute to our organisation's success and growth.

Qualifications
  • Provide strong culinary leadership and expertise across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, recipes, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to develop innovative and appealing menus that meet customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and regional trends.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve excellence in food preparation, presentation, and service. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain strict quality control standards, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation. Conduct inspections and address issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Implement proper handling and storage procedures.
  • Manage food and labor costs within budget, analyzing financial reports and implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
  • Foster strong relationships and communication with departments like operations, marketing, and procurement to align goals and streamline processes.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients. Seek opportunities to innovate and improve the dining experience.
  • Willing and capable of working towards Baxterstorey’s Chef Academy Level 4 qualification and beyond.
