Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant environmental field.
• Experience in environmental compliance, permitting, waste management, regulatory assessments and liability.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with experience in environmental reporting and investigations.
• Strong communication skills with internal/external stakeholders in English.

Aufgaben

• Manage and ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations, contractual obligations, and Amazon policy; represent Amazon to governmental agencies.
• Drive regional environmental programs by collaborating with engineering, construction, and operations teams while maintaining environmental management processes and accreditation.
• Ensure contractors, consultants, and employees perform according to Amazon standards and environmental regulations.
• Develop, analyze, and present environmental metrics to measure, monitor, forecast performance and identify risks; communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Submit time-critical environmental reports to various governmental agencies.
• Conduct environmental audits and incident investigations, complete regulatory reporting, and implement CAPAs with operations and stakeholders.
• Lead/Contribute to environmental permitting processes, including preparation, submittal, and negotiations with authorities.
