Irwin & Colton Limited in Scotland (Edinburgh) seeks a Regional Environment, Health and Safety Advisor to support sites across Scotland and travel to Northern Ireland. You’ll audit, advise on compliance and lead safety projects to improve policies and procedures.

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, strong communication and a full UK driving licence are essential, with willingness to travel. This role offers a salary up to £40,000 plus benefits and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Experience in health and safety advisory roles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute internal EHS audits across sites, prioritising based on risk and incident history.
• Partner with practices to promote a positive safety culture and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
• Analyze data to identify trends and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Lead project work to develop, review, and update EH&S policies, risk assessments, and safe working procedures.
• Deliver health and safety coaching, training and mentoring.
