Job summary

Compass Associates is seeking an Early Childhood Specialist to support a portfolio of nurseries across London and surrounding counties. You will partner with Nursery Managers and Regional Directors to drive high-quality practice, coach leadership teams and ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

You will travel across a defined region, lead quality improvements and help nurseries prepare for Ofsted inspections, making a tangible impact on outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Multi-site early years experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
• Experience coaching or improving nursery teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion high-quality early years practice and pedagogy.
• Coach and develop nursery leadership teams.
• Support safeguarding, inclusion and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare nurseries for Ofsted inspections and lead improvement.
• Identify opportunities for sustainable change and build regional partnerships.
