Job summary

Quilter plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Regional Director within Recruitment & Establishment to lead the recruitment and retention of Appointed Representatives and Registered Individuals. This homebased role focuses on ensuring excellent customer outcomes and governs risk and quality in all recruitment decisions.

You will build and maintain relationships with new Members, negotiate contracts and rate reviews, and collaborate with Quilter Cheviot, UK Platform, and Operations to deliver

Responsibilities

About the Role

Level: 5 Department: Recruitment & Establishment Team Location: Homebased, United Kingdom Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time Non-Regulated Our Regional Director role is responsible for the recruitment and retention of key Appointed Representatives (ARs) and RIs. You will ensure that good customer outcomes are central to decision‑making. You will be accountable for identifying, contacting, interviewing, assessing, attracting, and selecting appropriate prospective Members and lead on all aspects of decision‑making on quality of, risks associated with, prospective Members through to making formal offers to prospective recruits. You’ll be responsible for the agreement and implementation of a transfer plan with the Member and work with key stakeholders to ensure that any initial production loss to the Member is minimised whilst also ensuring that each Members’ progress is documented appropriately in line with risk and governance. Great at maintaining strong working relationships you will be accountable for building, managing and maintaining relationships with new Members. Supporting and managing new Members through the first year of Membership and being a key communication link between them and QFP. You will be re‑negotiating contracts at review points, in particular, rate reviews. Maintaining competency in QFP’s technology and processes, in particular the Membership Contract, Recruitment process, Sales Process, Training process and content, and FSA requirements for recruitment. Ensure that you keep your knowledge of the marketplace up to date and share this with colleagues whilst also collaborating with your colleagues to ensure that you deliver to Members in the most effective way and one that delivers good customer outcomes. You’ll develop a strong sense of team within the Wealth Network and actively look for opportunities for cross collaboration within teams. Support a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement, placing the customer experience front and centre. You will build strong relationships across the other areas of the business, such as Quilter Cheviot, UK Platform and Operations, identifying opportunities to leverage knowledge, skills and experience for customer and commercial benefit.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the way in which different types of AR Principles and Advisers operate and a track record of building relationships quickly and effectively. You will have a wealth of experience in constructing recruitment packages and a deep understanding of the way in which Advisers work. You will bring excellent knowledge of distribution, wholesaling arrangements, point of sale systems and financial services products. Knowledge of all product sectors and distribution channels as well as a comprehensive understanding of all product sectors and distribution channels.
