Job Overview

Regional Development Consultant – South East (Kent, East Sussex)
Location: Cumbria, South West Scotland & Lancashire
Reports to: Driver Development Manager
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (including car allowance or company vehicle)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (5 out of 7 days, evening work as required)

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate face‑to‑face and remote communications to deliver effective, efficient, and targeted sales consultancy activities.
  • Develop, present, and influence clear, concise commercial recommendations to investors at boardroom and director levels.
  • Implement and record recovery plans to remediate identified performance shortfalls.
  • Identify additional sales opportunities through retailer visits (e.g., BEV, wholesale funding, leasing, rental, used vehicle purchasing, digital integration, insurance) to support wider commercial objectives.
Qualifications
  • Experience within the automotive industry, ideally in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Coaching experience in a sales environment is desirable.
  • Understanding and interpreting financial accounts is preferable.
  • Experience using BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and Salesforce is desirable.
  • Tenacity, self‑motivation, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Highly developed negotiation and active listening skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a forward‑looking mindset.
  • Consultative approach and entrepreneurial mindset, especially regarding digital technologies.
