Job summary

HM Prison & Probation Service is recruiting for a leadership role within the Counter-Corruption Unit. The post holder will support prisons and probation to manage corruption threats, progress cases, and deliver high-quality counter-corruption services across the region.

You will work under the Regional Corruption Purse Lead, line-manage a Corruption Pursue Officer, and collaborate with Security, HR, and law enforcement partners to strengthen controls and respond to incidents efficiently.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is a requirement of this role.

Responsibilities

• Support prisons and probation to progress corruption cases in line with policy and progress complex/high-profile cases.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Security Managers, Deputy Governors, Governing Governors and HR colleagues.
• Lead and line-manage the Corruption Pursue Officer and supervise the Regional Corruption Purse Lead’s activities.
• Maintain accurate case records in the CCU case management system and produce timely reports on case load and performance.
• Provide analytical support and guidance to regional teams and partners to strengthen counter-corruption efforts.
