Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is seeking an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee multiple sites across the South West. You will lead operations, maintain high cleaning standards and build strong relationships with clients and site teams.

The role offers temp-to-perm progression, with 6am–9pm shifts, £15.38/hour during the temporary period and £30,000–£32,000 on permanent integration, plus a company car or car allowance, a bonus scheme and 35 days of holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial cleaning contracts.
• Experience with multi-site operations.
• Recruitment, onboarding and staff development experience.
• Proven client relationship skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to cover shifts 6am–9pm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of multiple cleaning sites in the South West.
• Lead client relationships and ensure high cleaning standards.
• Plan site visits and monitor satisfaction.
• Manage recruitment, induction and training.
• Conduct site audits and health & safety compliance.
• Handle queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure supplies and resources across sites.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance matters per policy.
