Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a full-time Class 2 Driver to join our UK delivery network, covering Cardiff and Swansea. You will make multi-drop home deliveries, keep accurate records, and ensure correct products reach customers with proper documentation.

We require a full UK driving licence with C entitlement, up-to-date CPC and Tachograph, a HIAB ticket, and excellent customer service. Competitive pay with overtime and benefits awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undergo DBS check and travel between Cardiff and Swansea.
• Must have HIAB licence with brick grab ticket (ALLMI or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-drop home deliveries to customers, averaging 16–24 drops per day.
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records per WTD regulations.
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally and efficiently.
• Ensure items are checked off and delivered with correct paperwork.
• Keep customers informed of delivery times and any issues.

Responsibilities

• Providing multi-drop home deliveries directly to the customer's chosen room, averaging 16 deliveries per day in quieter months and up to 24 during peak season
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur and communicate in a polite and courteous manner

Requirements

• Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential
• A full UK driving licence with category C Entitlement with an up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• A valid HIAB licence with brick grab ticket (ALLMI or equivalent), where held
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
• Be prepared to commute between Cardiff and Swansea stores

Contract & Hours

You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, following a two-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1 - Monday to Friday / Week 2 - Tuesday to Saturday, with start time between 07:00 and 11:00, contracted to 40hrs per week.

Salary & Benefits

Pay, benefits and more: As a Driver, you'll receive a competitive pay and benefits package, depending on the licence held.

• Class 2 Driver: An hourly rate of £16.85, that is an annual salary of £35,048.00
• Overtime pay of £25.28 per hour (when applicable, paid over 40hrs)
• Class 2 Driver (HIAB Qualified): An hourly rate of £17.68, that is an annual salary of £36,774.40
• Overtime pay of £26.52 per hour (when applicable, paid over 40hrs)
