Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a motivated Regional Chef Manager to cover our homes in the North. The role oversees all kitchen team members, plans and delivers high quality home cooked meals, and ensures nutritional needs and special diets are met within budget.

You will supervise and coach kitchen staff, manage the kitchen rota, coordinate food purchasing with nominated suppliers, and ensure food safety, hygiene and EHO guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef in a Care Home environment.
• NVQ's in Cooking, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety.
• IDDSI Training and knowledge of textured modified diets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen team members and cook/prepare meals for residents and visitors.
• Manage kitchen rota and oversee food purchasing from nominated suppliers.
• Ensure food safety, health & safety documentation and EHO guidelines are up to date.
