Royal Naval Benevolent Trust seeks a Regional Caseworker to deliver community-based wellbeing support across South Wales with hybrid working and regular travel to Bristol and Gloucestershire. The role requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
You will raise applications for financial assistance, signpost housing, mental health and debt support, and liaise with local charities and statutory services to empower individuals and strengthen families.

Job type:Permanent full-time 37 hours per week, Home-based Hybrid in South Wales Regular travel across South Wales and occasional coverage in Bristol and Gloucestershire.
The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust is a Royal Navy & Royal Marine charity that gives help, in cases of need, to serving and former Royal Naval ratings and Royal Marines. The Casework Service, launched in April 2025, is a cornerstone of RNBT’s 5-year strategic vision. Our goal is to place Caseworkers directly within the communities they serve, creating local networks of support and building trust within the armed forces and veteran populations. By working closely with local charities, welfare organisations, and statutory services, the Regional Wellbeing Caseworker helps ensure timely, holistic, and practical support is delivered in a way that empowers individuals and strengthens families.
The RNBT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Regional Caseworker to deliver high-quality casework to support our beneficiaries across South Wales. The role will also require travel to provide coverage and support in the Bristol and Gloucestershire areas as needed.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Occasionally support other RNBT initiatives and projects where needed.
