Arden & GEM is a leading Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) working across the health and care system in England to provide transformational solutions, business support, and clinical services. We work in partnership with other health and care organisations to design, develop, and deliver better care for patients that improves health outcomes while making efficient use of resources.
Our services are built on a strong foundation of experienced people who build great relationships, a commitment to NHS values, and a thorough understanding of our clients and the challenges they face.
In this role, you will drive the effective rollout and adoption of the Federated Data Platform across NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Boards in your region. Acting as the key contact for Trust business change teams, you will oversee implementation, ensuring the platform is integrated into day-to-day workflows to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
The FDP simplifies data management by connecting systems across Trusts, improving coordination and removing unnecessary burdens for staff and patients. In your first year, you will focus on strengthening uptake and usage within organisations already using the FDP. From year two onwards, you will expand this work to new organisations, enabling them to realise the platform's full benefits.
NHS England’s Data and Analytics Directorate is driving the transformation to put patients in control of their data, support clinicians, decision-makers, and researchers with real-time, high-quality data, and empower the NHS Data Community to leverage their skills for high-value opportunities. We pride ourselves on our dedication, creativity, and values-driven approach to improving decision-making across health and care, helping people live healthier, longer lives.
The NHS relies on data every day to manage patient care and plan services, but it is often stored in systems that don’t communicate with each other, creating burdens for both patients and staff. The Federated Data Platform connects these systems, allowing each Trust and Integrated Care Board to manage their own customised version, enhancing data integration and care coordination.
Ensure the successful adoption and effective use of FDP products across Trusts and Integrated Care Boards in your region, driving operational improvements and measurable benefits for patients and staff.
We value independent thinking and risk-taking. We believe that every team member should have the opportunity to contribute and share their ideas. Our culture encourages a healthy work-life balance, and we strive to create an enjoyable and supportive working environment.
