Job summary

Caddick Construction Limited is seeking an experienced Regional Building Services Manager for the Yorkshire & North East region. You will lead a team of building services managers, drive project delivery, IMS compliance and KPI reporting across multiple projects.

The role requires leadership of MEP teams, extensive construction management experience, and a strong focus on collaboration with design, procurement and subcontractors to meet programme targets.

Qualifications

• CMI Leadership and management (or similar) qualification required.
• ECS Manager’s Card or CSCS Card (Black Card) required.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification highly desirable.
• 10+ years’ experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
• Experience leading MEP teams and coordinating design, procurement and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of building services managers across the region.
• Provide project delivery management and technical support reviews.
• Support site delivery during all project stages and IMS compliance.
• Engage supply chain and conduct performance-based reviews.
• Develop and implement Regional IMS and report project KPIs.
• Lead MEP input through bid, design reviews and tender submissions.

Summary

Caddick Construction is a family-owned business renowned for quality, integrity, and innovation in the construction sector. We are seeking an experienced Regional Building Services Manager to join our Yorkshire & North East region.

What You’ll Do

• Managing a team of building services managers, providing project delivery management.
• Business Technical support reviews and input.
• Site support during all delivery stages.
• Supply chain engagement and performance-based reviews.
• Regional IMS development and implementation.
• Project KPI reporting to line manager.

Bid

• Lead MEP input throughout the bid process, including design teams, specialist sub-contractors, technical reviews, programmes and tender requirements.
• Support value engineering, risk and opportunity reviews, commercial alignment and bid submissions.

Preconstruction

• Coordinate M&E design, procurement and commissioning programmes, working closely with the project team, consultants and specialist MEP sub-contractors.
• Manage design quality and sub-contractor performance, ensuring projects are aligned with programme and required standards.

Construction

• Support the BSM and wider project team through site inspections, project reporting, client meetings and IMS compliance.
• Support commercial changes, variations, final accounts and project close-down

Skills and Experience

• BTEC in Building Services Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services Engineering.
• CMI Leadership and management (or similar)
• ECS Manager’s Card or CSCS Card (Black Card).
• SMSTS or SSSTS.
• 10 years + experience in the management of large-scale construction projects.
• Experience managing MEP teams.
