Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive capital equipment sales into Food & Beverage manufacturers in the North West. You will nurture existing accounts and open new opportunities, building relationships and closing deals in a dynamic field role.

The role is home-based in the Northwest, with coverage across Manchester, Liverpool, Stoke-on-Trent, Preston, and surrounding areas. Base salary up to £65k plus £20k OTE and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in selling to Food & Beverage manufacturers.
• Experience developing and converting new business opportunities.
• Managed territory with multiple accounts and long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategic relationships with target customers.
• Identify, target and approach new applications and sales opportunities (food & beverage).
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including trials/demonstrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, operations and leadership to deliver the right solution.
• Achieve average order values of £15,000–£30,000 with 1–2 sales per order.
