Role Overview

We are seeking a Regional Applications Engineer specializing in CNC Cutting tools, based ideally in the Gloucester area. This full-time position offers a salary of c£40,000 - £42,000 plus bonus, commission, a FE company car, and benefits. The territory covers postcodes SA, CF, NP, BS, HR, WR, GL, SN, OX, RG, HP, including Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Bristol, Hereford, Worcester, Gloucester, Swindon, Oxford, Reading, and Hemel Hempstead.

Company Background

Our client is a longstanding, innovative leader in manufacturing high-quality metalworking tools for sectors such as Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace. They are expanding their sales team due to recent promotions.

Responsibilities

1. Support development of customer relationships within direct and distribution networks.
2. Work closely with the sales team and report to the Regional Manager.
3. Promote high-quality cutting tools and solutions across sectors including Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace.

Candidate Profile

1. Strong CNC background; experience as a Miller, Turner, Setter, or Operator preferred.
2. Qualifications such as ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering or CNC experience from a Technical Apprenticeship.
3. Experience in Cutting Tools sales with distributors or direct customers is advantageous but not essential.
4. CAD/CAM experience highly beneficial.
5. Self-motivated, disciplined, target-driven, capable of working independently.
