Regional Account Manager – South East Region

Join Legal & General Investment Management as a Regional Account Manager and play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with financial advisers and wealth managers across the South East and East Anglia.

Legal & General (L&G) is a leading UK financial services group and a major global investor, offering retirement and protection solutions and responsible investment opportunities worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of advisory and wealth management firms across the region
• Building and deepening client relationships through proactive business planning
• Negotiating commercial terms and ensuring compliance with agreed fee structures
• Coordinating internal resources to deliver tailored client solutions
• Maintaining high-level knowledge of LGIM’s investment products and philosophy
• Leading client meetings, presentations, and representing LGIM at industry events
• Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
• Collaborating with internal teams to support client engagement and event delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience in client relationship management within asset management or discretionary investment
• Strong understanding of UK wholesale markets, investment products, and competitor landscape
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident engaging with large groups
• Ability to negotiate effectively and deliver win–win outcomes
• Commercial acumen with experience in business planning and portfolio management
• Knowledge of investment processes and philosophies
• Full FPC or IMC qualification (or working towards)
• Self‑motivated, organised, and able to manage a dynamic workload across multiple accounts
