Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, via MCS Group, seeks a proactive Regeneration & Infrastructure Officer to join the Economic Development Team on a 37-hour week contract. MCS Group in partnership with Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is seeking a proactive and motivated Regeneration & Infrastructure Officer to join their Economic Development Team and support the delivery of an exciting portfolio of strategic regeneration and infrastructure projects across the Council area.
Working closely with the Regeneration & Infrastructure Manager, you will play an important role in planning, managing and delivering complex projects, working with partners, government departments, agencies, community organisations and private sector stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into positive outcomes.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, managing projects and contracts, engaging with stakeholders and helping to deliver high-quality regeneration initiatives.

It is essential that applicants have a minimum of:
1.1 A third level qualification (for example, NVQ Level 4 or degree) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
1.2 A minimum of three years' relevant experience in all of the following areas:
Where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined in 1.1 above, they must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience as outlined in 1.2 above.
Practical understanding of the main issues and developments impacting on service delivery within Regeneration across the Council area, including grant aid opportunities.
1.3 It is essential that applicants hold a full and current UK driving licence and access to a car or have access to a means of transport which would enable the applicant to carry out the duties of the post.

A minimum of three years relevant experience in the management of staff.
