Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is recruiting for Refuse Loaders, Waste Operatives and Bin Loaders in the Eckington/Wingerworth/Chesterfield area. This outdoor, hands-on role is physically demanding and team-oriented, with full UK driving licence and transport essential.

Typical duties include collecting household waste, loading vehicles, and supporting street cleansing. Prior experience in labouring, construction, or related physical work is preferred, with outdoor work in all weather conditions a daily norm.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport essential.
• Experience in refuse, waste, recycling, labouring, warehouse, construction, landscaping or other physical work preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Collecting household waste and recycling from residential properties.

Refuse Loader / Waste Operative - Eckington / Wingerworth

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting Refuse Loaders, Waste Operatives and Bin Loaders for ongoing work with a local council in the Eckington / Wingerworth / Chesterfield area.

This is a physically demanding outdoor role, ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, staying active and working as part of a team. Previous experience in labouring, construction, landscaping, warehouse work, recycling, refuse collection or other physical roles is preferred.

Please note: Due to the council operating from two depot locations, a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport is essential.
