Northumberland County Council's Staff Bank is seeking a Refuse Loader to join our flexible, temporary workforce in the UK. This physically demanding role runs from 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with a pay rate of £13.48 per hour.

You will collect and empty waste bins onto collection vehicles, assist the driver on routes, and keep collection areas and vehicles tidy. A positive attitude and reliability are essential for success in this temporary assignment.

About the Role

As a Refuse Loader, you'll play a vital role in keeping our communities clean and tidy. This is a physically demanding role that requires commitment and a strong work ethic.

Key Details

• Start time: 7:00am.
• Finish time: Approximately 4:30pm.
• Working days: Monday to Thursday.
• Pay rate: £13.48 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Collect and empty household or commercial waste bins onto collection vehicles.
• Assist the driver in completing routes and operating collection equipment safely.
• Maintain the cleanliness of collection areas and vehicles (ensuring areas are tidy after collection and treating vehicles with respect).
