As a Refuse Loader / Waste Operative, you will be working as part of a professional waste collection team, supporting the safe and efficient collection of household and commercial waste across local routes.

This is a physically demanding role that involves walking, lifting, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Previous waste management, recycling, labouring, or drivers mate experience is beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting household and commercial waste and recycling materials
• Loading bins and refuse onto waste collection vehicles
• Working as part of a team to complete daily collection routes
• Following all health & safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining a high standard of reliability and professionalism
• Supporting drivers and loaders throughout the working day
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Pay & Benefits

• £12.71 per hour (standard rate)
• £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 Start - 09:00 Finish
