Job summary

Premier Placement Services are recruiting for HGV Class 2 refuse drivers for a client in Middlewich. Mon-Fri day shifts with immediate start and ongoing work. Potential temp-to-perm after 12 weeks, pay from £15.00 per hour with holiday pay on top.

Role includes driving a refuse vehicle, performing pre- and post-trip checks, and delivering reliable service on routes around Cheshire East. Applicants should have CPC/Tacho, clean licence with max 6 points, and be able to work independently.

PREMIER PLACEMENT SERVICES ARE RECRUITING FOR A NUMBER CLASS 2 REFUSE DRIVERS FOR OUR CLIENT IN MIDDLEWICH.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY DAY WORK.

IMMEDIATE START AND ONGOING WORK.

Premier Placement Services are hiring HGV Class 2 refuse drivers for their prestigious client based in the Middlewich area. These are potential temp to perm positions for the right driver with a contract offered after 12 weeks, paying from £14.82ph PLUS holidays are accrued on top.

Role and Responsibilities

• Driving a refuse vehicle
• hand ball on the roles and also getting in and out of the trucks during the day.
• Transport the trucks on set runs round Cheshire East in a safe and timely manner.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantgeous.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and working time directive (WTD).
• Report any incidents or accidents to the client.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and collections
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid CPC and Tacho card.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points. No DR or DD Offences.
• Previous refuse driving experience in a similar role would be preferred but not essential.

Working Hours and Pay:

• Monday to Friday.
• Day shifts.
• £14.82- £15 per hour.
• Holiday pay on top of hourly rate.
