About the team
We are seeking experienced team leaders to supervise a collection team and be responsible for allocated vehicles and other resources to ensure safe, efficient and customer focused delivery of recycling and refuse collection services in accordance with the Council's operational and service delivery standards,
About the role
The roles includes the requirement to lead and supervise staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity. This requires the candidates to possess good oral and written skills and the ability to make reliable, sound, balanced and consistent judgements.
You will be making day to day operational decisions to ensure that the Council's operational and service delivery requirements are achieved. The candidates will effectively liaise with team members and members of the general public.
You will be responsible for ensuring team members carry out their duties in accordance with the Council's policies and procedures and operate to agreed methods of working, including safe systems of work set out in the Council's health and safety policies and procedures.
