Job summary

Visum Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced refrigeration engineers to cover multiple UK regions. You will perform PPMs and breakdown repairs on commercial systems, working autonomously across your patch and maintaining accurate records on site.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial refrigeration, Level 2/3 refrigeration & AC qualification or apprenticeship, and F-Gas certification. CO2 or industrial experience is a bonus; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial refrigeration service or maintenance (3+ years).
• Level 2/3 refrigeration and air conditioning qualification or apprenticeship.
• F-Gas certified.
• Full UK driving licence and comfortable working lone.
• CO2 or industrial refrigeration experience is a bonus; ammonia experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Fault-find, diagnose and repair equipment such as cold rooms, display cabinets, condensing units and packs.
• Work independently and manage your own workload and customers across your patch.
• Complete accurate job sheets, F-Gas records and reports.
• Represent the company professionally on site.

The role

• Good fault-finding skills and a customer-focused attitude
• CO2 or industrial refrigeration experience is a bonus, and for some roles ammonia experience is valued
