Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a Senior Refrigeration Engineer stepping into a Managing Engineer role for the Devon region. You will lead a team of Refrigeration Engineers, ensuring on-time, on-budget maintenance and robust supervision across supermarkets.

The role requires a City & Guilds Refrigeration qualification (F-Gas) and a strong track record in mobile, on-site supervision. A full UK driving licence is essential; hybrid or flexible hours may apply. Competitive package and training provided.

Qualifications

• Management/supervisory experience in a mobile Refrigeration role.
• City & Guilds Refrigeration with F‑Gas certification is essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• FM/refrigeration experience in supermarkets is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team and act as daily point of contact for engineers.
• Provide technical support and training to the team.
• Manage on-call rota and weekend cover.
• Assist HR processes including return-to-work forms and performance reviews.
• Deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance within budget.
