Qualifications

• Senior Refrigeration Engineer or Refrigeration Manager experience in FM, retail or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, including CO and A2L refrigerants.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams with focus on safety, quality and performance.
• Confident client communicator, able to manage relationships at site and regional level.
• Organised and data-driven, comfortable using CMMS/FM platforms to track works, compliance and KPIs.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team across multiple sites.
• Oversee planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and project works on commercial/industrial refrigeration systems.
• Ensure compliance with F-Gas, H&S, PSM and client standards.
• Manage workload planning, call-out rotas and on-call cover to meet KPIs.
• Drive first-time fix rates and uptime through root cause analysis.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to agree priorities and scopes.
• Own technical documentation and compliance logs.
• Support tendering, scope definitions and resource planning.
• Contribute to recruitment and training within the team.
