Job summary
Omega Resource Group are recruiting a Refrigeration Engineer to work across North West & North Wales on commercial refrigeration equipment. You will be the first line for service and maintenance at allocated sites, repairing faults and keeping systems safe and compliant.
The role requires NVQ/City & Guilds refrigeration qualification, F-Gas Cat 1, and strong diagnostic skills. A company van is provided with no weekend work. Training and progression opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Commercial or Transport Refrigeration experience required.
- Time served apprenticeship with NVQ/City & Guilds refrigeration qualification.
- F-Gas Category 1 certification (C&G 2079 / CITB handling).
- Strong refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and apply safety legislation.
Responsibilities
- Identify faults and carry out effective repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers on site and coordinate with service teams.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of new products and updates.
- Handle queries over the phone with clear guidance.
- Report issues and assist with product improvements and safety matters.
