Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in London and the Southeast is seeking a Chiller Engineer for a mobile role across commercial, residential and energy centre sites. You will perform PPM, fault-finding, repairs and commissioning on a range of chiller systems.

The role offers up to £60,000 plus overtime, a company vehicle and benefits, with on-call duties and a focus on safe, quality service delivery. Applicants should have F-Gas, City & Guilds 2079, and 5–6 years' experience.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years' experience working on chiller systems.
• F-Gas Certification and City & Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling.
• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualifications; full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of chiller systems.
• Reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Working on reciprocating, absorption, centrifugal, turbocor and heat pump systems.
• Providing technical support and recommendations to customers.
• Producing service reports and quotations for remedial works.
• Supporting apprentices and junior engineers where required.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with service level agreements.
• Participating in an on-call rota.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a growing and highly respected building services and energy solutions business operating across London and the Southeast.

This is a mobile role working across a portfolio of commercial, residential and energy centre sites, carrying out planned maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and optimisation works on a wide range of chiller systems.

The Role

As a Chiller Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of chiller systems
• Reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs
• Working on reciprocating, absorption, centrifugal, turbocor and heat pump systems
• Providing technical support and recommendations to customers
• Producing service reports and quotations for remedial works
• Supporting apprentices and junior engineers where required
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with service level agreements

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• F-Gas Certification
• City & Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling qualification
• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualifications
• Minimum 5-6 years' experience working on chiller systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and commissioning
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
