Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Chiller / Refrigeration engineer for opportunities across commercial buildings, hospitals, and light industrial environments in the United Kingdom. The role involves planned maintenance, servicing, and reactive work on chillers and air conditioning units.

You will service and maintain water, process, and air-cooled chillers, communicating with schedulers and representing the company professionally.

Qualifications

• F/Gas Certification is required.
• C&G electrical qualifications/experience are required.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding skills are required.
• Must have a full driving licence.
• Strong customer facing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance on chillers, water chillers, processed chillers and air conditioning units.
• Communicate with Schedulers providing updates on works or tasks.
• Represent the company professionally with staff and customers.
• Complete paperwork and tablet job information accurately and promptly.
• Diagnose equipment faults in line with policies and procedures.
• Identify required parts to enable timely ordering by Purchasing.

Chiller / Refrigeration engineer opportunities

Up to £55000 + Industry leading training + door to door

Do you have good knowledge of water chillers, process cooled chillers or air-cooled chillers and looking to take your next steps within your career? Or, are you interested in becoming a specialist chiller engineer?

This is a great opportunity to work within commercial buildings, Hospitals, food and beverage and other light industrial environments.

On offer is the chance to be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and reactive work on a variety of different types of chillers and air conditioning units.

Roles and responsibilities

• Service and maintenance on chillers, water chillers, processed chillers and air conditioning units
• Communicate on a regular basis with Schedulers providing updates on works or tasks.
• To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with company and customer staff.
• To ensure all paperwork / documentation and tablet job information is completed correctly and promptly.
• To diagnose equipment faults accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• To identify required parts to enable the Purchasing team to be able to order in a timely fashion.

Requirements for the role

• F/Gas Certification.
• C&G electrical qualifications/experience.
