Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Chiller Engineer to service, maintain and repair industrial water chillers across Southampton and surrounding areas. This field-based role offers ongoing manufacturer training and real opportunities for long-term career progression.

The package includes a £45,000 basic salary (flexible for the right candidate), door-to-door travel, a 42.5-hour week, and 1 in 6 on-call rota, with overtime paid and a company van provided.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship is required.
• NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas (C&G 2079) or equivalent Refrigerant Handling certification.
• Approved manufacturer training or recognised industry training.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Previous experience working on industrial water chillers.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of industrial water chillers.
• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown response.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and system repairs.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Covering commercial and industrial sites throughout Southampton and surrounding areas.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer with an excellent reputation for investing in its engineers. Covering Southampton and the surrounding region, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of industrial water chillers across commercial and industrial sites. This is a varied, field-based role offering ongoing manufacturer training, excellent support and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.

The Role

• Service, maintenance and repair of industrial water chillers
• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown response
• Fault finding, diagnostics and system repairs
• Delivering a high standard of customer service
• Covering commercial and industrial sites throughout Southampton and the surrounding areas

Requirements
