Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Limited is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer for a leading global HVAC & Refrigeration company in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing faults on commercial and industrial plants using advanced diagnostic tools, and delivering high-quality customer support on site.

You will perform planned maintenance, emergency repairs, and commissioning at customer sites, while building strong relationships and handling an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
• A valid F-Gas certification (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of commercial and industrial plants and equipment using cutting-edge diagnostic tools.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown repairs and commissioning work on customer sites.
• Act as the main point of contact for your customers, building trusted, long-term relationships.

Who They’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a field-based Service Technician or Refrigeration Engineer.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Confidence using diagnostic software, mobile apps and MS Office.
• NVQ L2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent industry related qualification
• A valid F-Gas certification (or equivalent).
• A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
