Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer (North) to cover various customer locations throughout the Midlands and East parts of the country, including East Midlands, South Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire.

Job Purpose:

To deliver maintenance and service visits proactively to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses on equipment such as Recip, Scroll, Screw compressors, including Ammonia, Co2, & HFC/HFO installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service and reactive breakdown cover during normal hours and support out-of-hours work via standby rota.
• Meet customer and business support requirements, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Follow industry best practices and legislative guidelines.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Proven knowledge in Industrial Refrigeration engineering and customer expectations.
• Relevant technical certificates such as 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.
• Completed recognized training or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
• Knowledge of maintenance & service on medium to large industrial applications.
• Experience diagnosing faults on large central plant and compressors like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom.
