Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Covering area between North London and Ipswich

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Job Summary

To work within the overall operation of our client's Refrigeration Services, being part of a team of Engineers responsible for all refrigeration maintenance and support for our client's retail stores. Providing cover 24 hours, 365 days a year. To deliver technical competence and innovation to ensure the best service value, comparable with the industry standards.

Purpose of Role

Responsible for maintaining refrigeration systems, recommending technical improvements, and ensuring excellent customer service by collaborating with retail colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Recommend technical improvements and more efficient working methods.
• Collaborate with retail colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and supplier innovations to maintain a premium service standard.
• Perform refrigeration engineering activities to agreed standards with minimal supervision.
• Supervise less experienced colleagues and ensure technical quality.
• Maintain and review van stock regularly.
• Adhere to all company procedures, processes, and practices.
• Carry out reasonable requests from colleagues and management.
