The Vacancy

Job Purpose:

This is a key position responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations. You will be the first point of contact for all maintenance tasks within your assigned sites. The role involves carrying out technical repairs and PPMs, ensuring all technical and compliance paperwork is completed accurately and timely. All work must be performed to high standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, adhering to the Company's Health and Safety policies.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary documentation is accurately filled out.
2. Respond promptly to service requests from the Helpdesk, assess the requirements, and carry out repairs as needed.
3. Prioritize maintenance and repairs to meet response and completion times.
4. Order spares following laid-down procedures.
5. Identify faults that cannot be repaired and advise the Line Manager with recommendations for replacements.
6. Ensure compliance documentation is always up to date.
7. Conduct surveys and compile reports as required by management.
8. Perform minor alterations and installations within your technical competence and current specifications.
9. Attend training courses as necessary to keep skills up to date with technical developments.
