An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our company working with one of our major UK supermarket clients.

The role involves carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across several retail stores, maintaining and repairing a range of refrigeration equipment, and undertaking regular store visits for reactive work, PPMs, and minor repairs as requested by the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple sites.
• Servicing and repairing a range of CO2 refrigeration pack equipment.
• Identifying non-repairable faults and advising the Refrigeration Manager with recommendations for replacements.
• Performing minor alterations and installations within technical competence according to current specifications.

Essential Qualifications / Experience

• SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration or an equivalent qualification.
• City and Guilds 2079-1 FGas Category 1.

Desirable but Not Essential

• City and Guilds 7671 18th Edition.
• City and Guilds CO2 Refrigeration System Services.

The Ideal Candidate

• Multiple years of experience working with supermarket refrigeration systems.
