Job summary

Tailored Technical Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Systems Design Engineer in Greater London to lead the design of industrial refrigeration systems for large-scale projects across food, beverage and pharma sectors.

You will deliver detailed calculations, equipment selections and system specifications, collaborating with project managers, clients and internal teams to ensure compliant, energy-efficient solutions and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in refrigeration system design for industrial environments (≤140 chars).
• Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, thermodynamics, and system calculations (≤140 chars).
• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or process cooling sectors (≤140 chars).
• Ability to design complex refrigeration systems for large-scale/high-value projects (≤140 chars).
• Proficiency with refrigeration design software and related calculations (≤140 chars).
• Knowledge of industry compliance standards and regulations (≤140 chars).

Responsibilities

• Full design and technical engineering of industrial refrigeration systems for large-scale projects.
• Producing detailed refrigeration calculations, equipment selections, and system specifications.
• Designing efficient and compliant refrigeration solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Working closely with project managers, clients, and internal engineering teams throughout project lifecycle.
• Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
• Supporting the development of sustainable and energy-efficient system solutions.
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to source suitable equipment and components.
• Assisting with technical documentation, design reviews, and project support activities.

£60,000-£80,000 + Private Medical + Pension, 26 days holiday

A leading specialist within industrial refrigeration solutions is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Systems Design Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale projects across the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Systems Design Engineer to work across high-value refrigeration projects exceeding £1M across food, bev, process and pharma based projects, delivering bespoke and energy efficient solutions for complex industrial applications.

The role offers a high level of autonomy, remote working flexibility, and the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within a growing and highly respected business.

The Role

• Full design and technical engineering of industrial refrigeration systems for large-scale projects

Package

• £65,000-£80,000 basic salary
