Job summary

Poolhall Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Chiller Engineer to service, maintain and fault‑find on commercial and industrial refrigeration, chillers and HVAC systems across London, with Wembley as a core area.

The role is mobile with a company van, door‑to‑door pay, overtime and clear progression. A full UK driving licence and HVAC experience are essential; F‑Gas and Gas Safe credentials are desirable. This is a stable, varied mobile role for a dedicated engineer.

Qualifications

• Proven refrigeration or chiller engineer background.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• HVAC experience required.
• Experience in commercial or residential buildings.
• Full UK driving licence.
• F‑Gas certification desirable.
• Gas Safe experience welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

We’re recruiting an experienced Refrigeration & Chiller Engineer for a well‑established climate control business. This is an excellent opportunity for a Refrigeration & Chiller Engineer seeking a stable, varied mobile role across London, but mainly in the Wembley area.

About the Role

As a Refrigeration & Chiller Engineer, you’ll focus on refrigeration, chiller and chilled‑water systems while also carrying out essential HVAC work. The role covers commercial, residential, hotel and industrial sites in Wembley and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and fault‑finding on:
  • Commercial & industrial refrigeration
  • Chillers, condensers, freezers, cold rooms
  • DX systems (VRV/VRF, splits, multi‑splits)
  • Chilled water systems
  • HVAC systems (HVAC experience required)
• Reactive & planned maintenance
• Occasional installation and commissioning
• Accurate reporting and compliance
• Independent mobile work across London
