We’re hiring a Refresh Support Engineer for a short-term project with a major international insurance client. You’ll be working onsite in Swindon, supporting a large-scale PC hardware refresh for approximately 5,000 users. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced deskside or deployment engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working hands-on with hardware and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and prepare replacement devices and manage shipping.
  • Coordinate lifecycle of PC builds in line with project goals.
  • Keep deployment schedule and project team updated.
  • Book couriers and ensure correct documentation for shipped machines.
  • Occasionally deliver devices on-site and support end users.
  • Assist with asset stock counts and audits.
  • Suggest and support project process improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in PC builds, refresh, or deskside support (Windows 11).
  • Familiar with M365, Autopilot, Intune, or ServiceNow (training available).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to follow governance processes.
  • Awareness of GDPR and data handling best practices.
  • Proactive team player who works well under pressure and can prioritise tasks.
