Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior BI leader to design, develop and govern BI solutions for Children and Young People’s Services in relation to SEND Reforms. You will leverage Power BI, SQL and SSRS to deliver insights that improve service outcomes and strategic planning across the directorate.

Leading a team within the CYP Intelligence Hub, you will coach staff, drive data-sharing initiatives, and partner with IT and transformation teams to enhance reporting infrastructure while ensuring governance

Qualifications

Extensive experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics and performance reporting.
Expert knowledge of Power BI, SQL and SSRS
Proven ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights supporting strategic decision-making and service improvement
Strong leadership and people management skills, including developing, coaching and motivating high-performing teams
Experience designing and delivering technical training and building team capability
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across services, partner organisations and senior leadership groups
Experience working with children and young people's data, information governance requirements, and complex performance and intelligence frameworks
DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts

Improve access to data, insight and decision-making tools across the directorate
Work with IT, transformation teams and partner organisations to develop reporting infrastructure and data-sharing solutions
