Job summary

City of London Academies Trust is seeking a Reflection Room Manager to oversee the Reflection Room’s daily operation, ensuring a calm, secure and highly structured environment. You will supervise students to maintain silent, independent work and high standards of behaviour at all times, implementing behaviour systems consistently.

You will work closely with pastoral and teaching staff, monitor behaviour with accurate records, and report trends to the Behaviour Team and Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Experience with behaviour management systems.
• Ability to maintain calm, structured environments.
• Strong communication with staff, students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Reflection Room and maintain a calm, secure, structured environment.
• Supervise students to ensure silent, independent work and high behavioural standards.
• Implement behaviour systems consistently (Reminder, Warning, Fail).
• Monitor and record student behaviour, report trends to the Behaviour Team and SLT.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students and parents about placements, expectations and outcomes.
